9 months today.....

Hello everyone its me!!

First of all, I would like to say that I have hit my 9 months today. 2 more transfers and I hit my year mark, whoop whoop!

At last, my time in Everett has finally come to an end.  I'm getting transferred.  I've had so many ups and downs in this area and I've learned so much not to mention I've been blessed to meet so many good people.

We've been a lot more busy since I last wrote an email.  First of all, we had a guy come to church because he said he had a feeling he should come, and so he did and we made him a friend.  His name is Abian, what a guy. I'm gonna miss him a lot.  He's been to church twice, came to a ward halloween party, already has an amazing fellowship, also has been reading the Book of Mormon in spanish, and we have also taught him the first 2 lessons.  Being out for 9 months, I've never seen or heard of a guy like Abian.  He is just so amazing not to mention christ-like.  I think he will get baptized soon.

We are also teaching an Indian family who is interested in converting to christianity.  What's funny is that the family has had some form of contact with all the missionaries in our district so we call the husband the district friend.  Sucesh (thats the husbands name) the district friend XD.

We've also FINALLY been able to meet with Giovanna.  Her house is still pack but we have been able to organize it and free up some space.  She finally has a bathroom that is usable.  We've also taught her the first lesson and it went really well.

I also had 2 comp reunions this transfer minus Elder Niven (Hes up north)

Elder Lusk, Lessig, Ita'aehau, Babcock and Rush in Seattle

(all the companions including the MTC, except Elder Nevin)

Random thought: Out of all the transfers I've had, this one has been really weird.  Elder Ita'aehau and I have declared this transfer the meme transfer.  I kid y'all not, this transfer has seriously been a meme.

Spiritual thought: I was reading Ether 6:5 which says: "And it came to pass that the Lord God caused that there should be a furious wind blow upon the face of the waters, towards the promised land; and thus they were tossed upon the waves of the sea before the wind." This scripture made me think about life here on earth which is the sea.

The starting point is us in the premortal life and the "promised land" in this scripture is life after mortality, or celestial glory.  In order to reach the other side God has to blow a furious wind which are trials because the winds push us towards the promised land.  The Jaredites had no sail so the furious winds are what push them.

Anyways, I hope this makes sense.  In order to reach celestial glory, we need to stay in the barges.  If we leave them, how do we reach celestial glory? If there is no furious winds, how do we reach celestial glory?

Love y'all and have a great week!
P.S.
I've been looking at memes lately ðŸ¤ª   Here are a few:
