Mission conference with Elder Sabian Oct. 2022

Hey everyone!
It's me again
watching General Conference in the church with the district.
Geez I can't remember a whole lot since last time I wrote an email. There aint a lot happening lately. Well lets get to it then.
I'm still in my second area and 8 months into the mission. Yay and ugh. I can't believe I've been out 8 months already, 1 third done with the mission. But being out 8 months and you've only been in 1 zone. Especially a 3rd transfer in Everett. I've seen some things and heard some stories from other missionaries I'm serving around. So that's why I have decided to call Everett the creek of Seattle. lol gotta make myself laugh once in awhile. But to be honest though, this transfer is a meme. 3 companionships in our district excluding me and Elder Ita'aeahu, are in MLC and half of our district is on bike. I don't know if any of that implies its a meme. I'm losing my train of thought.....
We have a baptism scheduled!! It's for a recent converts son. The mom's name is Khimani and the son's name is Jordan. They are so fun to visit!! Before the transfer ended the sister missionaries who we share a ward with, we thought they had everything put together, apparently didn't. They got whitewashed and 2 new sister missionaries came in and there has been a lot of chaos with this baptism. We had to reschedule it but got everything working out.
Random thought: Every transfer I've had out of training, there has been something in the apartments where I live, that brakes such as the bathroom sink, dishwasher, dryer, and washing machine. Whats next?! (The suspense)
Spiritual thought: I recently listened to a talk and it had this poem:
There is no chance, no fate, no destiny,
that can circumvent or hinder, or control
the firm resolve of a determined soul
This poem made think that Satan is trying to stop us from reaching the end goal. We as children of God to be determined with the end goal in mind. We basically need to endure to the end.
Love y'all and have a great week!!
